FREE CON ED 2021
I have received several questions about the Con-Ed class, so I thought I’d do a quick Q & A.
Q. When do I need to complete my class by?
A. October 31, 2021. If not, you my receive a $500 fine from the State.

Q. Do I need to complete my Con-Ed prior to renewing my license?
A. No, but make sure you complete the Con-Ed by October 31st.
FYI… You need to renew your real estate license by October 31, 2021. I’ll send out a video on that in the next day or two.

Q. Does the Con-Ed class include the required 2 hours of legal?
A. Yes, the first 1/2 of the class is legal.

Q. Does the Con-Ed class include 2.5 hours of ethics training for NAR?
A. Yes, the 2nd half covers your ethics requirement.
FYI… The National Association of Realtors requires us to take 2.5 hours of ethics training every 3 years. This is a cycle year.

Q. I thought we needed to complete 6 hours of Con-Ed every year, the class is only 5 hours.
A. Correct, we are required to complete 6 hours every year, 2 of which must be legal. However the State considers 50 minutes a classroom hour, since there are no breaks online it’s only 5 hours.

Q. Can I stop and start the class?
A. Yes, but please note where you stop so that you know where to start the class the next time you login.
FYI… The class will start from the beginning each time you login, so you’ll have to scroll up to the point you left off at.

Q. I finished the class & passed the exam, but I don’t see my certificate.
A. You’ll need to logout and then log back in. If you still don’t see your certificate, double check that your slide and time completion are both at 100%. If not, you haven’t finished the class.
