NRC Office Policy  |  Lease Checks

For all the details on our office policy for “checks” on a lease transaction. Please watch this quick video.

•  Security deposit checks MUST be made payable to the landlord.

•  If you represent both sides of the transaction, then we only need one check from the tenant for your commission.

•  If there is a co-broker, then the tenant should provide one check to NRC and another made payable to the co-broker.

•  Please request cashier checks. If you receive a personal check, we will not be able to pay you for 10 business days. Chase does not guarantee personal check till the 10th business day.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime.

I am always here to help.

Thanks!
