Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac have implemented new guidelines for condos.
If you have a client thinking about buying or selling a condo in the next few months, you need to understand the new guidelines.
More importantly, you need to educate your clients.
I would recommend making a list of everyone you know who owns a condo. Then call them and explain the new guidelines.
This is an excellent opportunity to have a “Real Estate” conversation and potentially generate some referrals.
If you want to take it one step further, send them an email follow up with a list of the highest sold units in their complex this year.
